Indonesian president pays respects to late Thai King

Indonesian President Joko Widodo left for Thailand Tuesday to pay his last respects to Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej who passed away on Oct. 13.

"The president has departed to Thailand to pay his last tribute to the late Thai king," an official at the presidential office told Xinhua by phone.

President Widodo had previously conveyed Indonesia's deepest condolences over the passing of the king.

King Bhumibol passed away at the age of 88. Endit
