The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Saturday.

-- Government Communication Affairs Office (GCAO) of Ethiopia said the reform will be consolidated to address legitimate public concerns.

In its weekly statement sent to ENA on Friday, the Office stated that the reform program the government launched to address public grievances will continue to be implemented. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) has signed an agreement with the Chinese construction company, CGC Overseas Construction Group (CGCOC) to build 34-storey head office. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- The Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) is set to establish eight science and technology centers of excellence at the Addis Ababa and Adama Science and Technology universities at a cost of 300 million U.S. dollars. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- Ethiopia and Sudan on Friday signed agreements to cooperate in the areas of livestock, transport, railway and banking services.
