DPR Korea wins women's U17 World Cup

DPR Korea has become the first nation to win the Women's under-17 football World Cup for a second time, after beating Japan on penalties in Amman on Friday night.

The match ended 0-0 after full time, before DPR Korea held their nerve to win on

penalties 5-4.

Japan's Rio Kanekatsu blasted her kick well over the goal allowing DPR Korea to grab the title for the second time after 2008 in New Zealand.

Spain defeated Venezuela 4-0 in the play off for third place, thanks to a second-half hat-trick to Lorena Navarro. Endit
