U.S. dollar climbs against most major currencies

The U.S. dollar inched up against most major currencies on Friday amid rising expectations for an interest-rate hike by year end.

In late New York trading, the euro dropped to 1.0867 dollars from 1.0927 dollars, while the dollar bought 103.85 Japanese yen, lower than 103.98 yen in the previous session. Endit
