Number of tourists in BiH increases in August

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) received 140,867 tourists in August, an increase of 13.6 percent, compared with the same period last year, local media reported on Wednesday.

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, during the period, there were 332,954 overnight stays, which is 10.2 percent more than that of last year.

In terms of the length of stay of foreign tourists in BiH, first place was taken by tourists from Lithuania with an average stay of 12.3 nights, followed by tourists from Malta with 7.7 nights, Kuwait (3.6 nights), France (3.2 nights) and Romania (3.1 nights). Endit
