At least 11 killed in Al-Shabaab attack in south Mogadishu

At least 11 people were killed and unknown number injured in an attack by Al-Shabaab militants in a Somali town, 30km south of the capital Mogadishu on Tuesday.

A police officer Abdirizak Ahmed told Xinhua that five Somali police officers and six civilians were killed in the Tuesday afternoon attack when a car laden with explosives rammed into a police station in Afgoye town. Enditem
