China's ODI surges 53.7 pct in first 9 months

Chinese companies continued to invest big in the overseas market during the first nine months of the year, the Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday.

China's non-financial outbound direct investment surged 53.7 percent from a year ago to 882.78 billion yuan (131.17 billion U.S. dollars) in the January-September period, according to a statement posted on the ministry's website. Endi
