Chinese president back home after visit to Cambodia, Bangladesh, BRICS summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing on Monday evening after his state visits to Cambodia and Bangladesh, and attendance at the 8th BRICS summit in Goa, India.

Xi's entourage included Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee; Li Zhanshu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee; State Councilor Yang Jiechi; and Zhou Xiaochuan, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and governor of the People's Bank of China.
