Cambodia will establish three commercial centers in China with the assistance from Chinese companies, according to a Cambodian Commerce Ministry statement on Saturday.
The centers will be set up in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou cities, the statement said.
Commerce Minister Pan Sorasak on Saturday witnessed a signing ceremony on the agreements towards establishing the centers between the Commerce Ministry and three Chinese companies, namely HYT International Transport Service, Shanghai Spring International Service (Group) and Guangzhou Jinsui Industry Group.
"Under the agreements, Cambodian will establish commercial centers without rental fees in the 3 cities," it said.
"The establishment of these centers aimed at promoting Cambodian export products, expanding and exposing Cambodian products to the Chinese markets and to disseminate Cambodian culture," the statement added.
The bilateral trade volume between Cambodia and China was valued at 4.43 billion U.S. dollars in 2015 and the two countries have vowed to boost it to 5 billion dollars by 2017. Endit
