Suicide attack hits NW Pakistan, at least 4 injured

At least four people were injured in a suicide attack at a security check post in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Kurram Agency on Friday, local Urdu media reported.

The suicide bomber blew himself up near the check post of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps in Kharlachi area of Kurram Agency, a semi-autonomous tribal region along Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the Samaa News said.

All the injured were Corps personnel who were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Police have cordoned off the area for investigations. Enditem
