Dollar changes hands in upper 103 yen range in early Tokyo trade

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 103 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with its levels seen in New York overnight.

As markets opened, the dollar was quoted at 103.74-75 yen compared with 103.67-77 yen in New York and 103.86-88 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1046-1047 dollars and 114.60-61 yen against 1.1051-1061 dollars and 114.62-72 yen in New York and 1.1011-1012 dollars and 114.36-40 yen, in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
