British FTSE 100 decreases 0.66 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreases by 0.66 percent, or 46.27 points, to 6,977.74 points.

Share price of United Utilities Group increased by 2.79 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Intu Properties, British Land Co, Hammerson and Polymetal International increased by 2.44 percent, 2.32 percent, 2.17 percent and 2.13 percent respectively.

Standard Life led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.07 percent, following by Rio Tinto (4.86 percent), Anglo American (4.80 percent), Prudential (4.66 percent) and BHP Billiton (4.40 percent). Endit
