Slight tremors felt from earthquake without danger in Maldives

Slight tremors were felt in some parts of Maldives as a small earthquake hit 306 kilometers outside Male in the early morning of Wednesday, National Meteorological Center (NMC) of Maldives said.

NMC said that a magnitude 4.9 earthquake hit at around 3:30 am local time and reports from people who felt tremors in some parts of Maldives were received after that.

NMC reassured no threat from the earthquake to Maldives. Endit
