Morocco beat Canada 4-0 in a friendly late on Tuesday.

At the Grand Stadium of Marrakesh, Mehdi Carcela opened the score for Atlas Liona in the 12th minute, before Ziyech Hakim scored two goals in the 65th and 81th minutes. In the 86th minute Alioui Rachid scored the fourth goal.

The game is part of preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

In their opening match of Group C, Morocco played out a 0-0 draw with Gabon in Franceville earlier this month.

The Atlas Lions will host Ivory Coast in the second matchday of Group C on 12 November, while Gabon will visit Mali. Endit
