First meeting of IOC Coordination Commission for 2022 Winter Games opens in Beijing

The first meeting of IOC Coordination Commission for Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 opened here on Monday.

The commission, headed by Alexander Zhukov, will hold talks with the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee and visit venues in Zhangjiakou, Yanqing and Beijing during the three-day meeting.

Zhukov said that Beijing has many advantages to host a successful Olympic Winter Games as it has already had some world class venues and has experience of holding big events. Enditem
