Xinhua, October 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

A speech by President Xi Jinping last month urging the study of works by his predecessor Hu Jintao was published as a book on Saturday by the People's Publishing House

At a meeting on Sept. 29, Xi stressed that Hu's selected works should be an important part of the Party's political building and theoretical training of Party members and officials.

Xi referred to a selection of works by Hu, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, which was compiled in accordance with a decision made by the CPC Central Committee in 2013.

Published by the People's Publishing House last month, the selection consists of three volumes and collects 242 selected works by Hu dating from June 1988 to November 2012. Endi
