Home of Sun Yat-sen to get high-tech make-over

Xinhua, October 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

Work will begin at a memorial to Sun Yat-sen at his former residence in south China's Guangdong Province, upgrading the visitor experience with technology.

Born in 1866 in Zhongshan, Guangdong, Sun Yat-sen was the founder of the Kuomintang Party and a forerunner of China's anti-feudalism revolution.

The memorial in the house where Sun was born, will feature 3D visual displays, and guided tours through WeChat. Document management and research will also be digitized.

The residence will link up with other nearby tourist attractions to form a sightseeing area covering some 3.15 square kilometers. Endi
