British FTSE 100 rises 0.63 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.63 percent, or 44.43 points, to 7,044.39 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 4.27 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, Standard Chartered, HSBC Holdings and Randgold Resources increased by 3.16 percent, 2.87 percent, 2.80 percent and 2.76 percent respectively.

Dixons Carphone led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.98 percent, following by J Sainsbury (5.27 percent), Barratt Developments (5.01 percent), ITV (4.84 percent), Next (4.78 percent). Endit
