Indonesia limits tourists access to Bromo volcano after eruption

Authorities are prohibiting tourists and hikers from entering the radius of 2.5 km from the crater of Mount Bromo volcano in western Indonesia.

The decision was made for concern that minor eruptions on Thursday would be followed by much bigger eruptions, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman of national disaster agency told Xinhua via phone on Thursday evening. Endit
