Iran to host international exposition on nanotechnology

Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) is planning to showcase its technical achievements at the 9th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition in the capital Tehran, semi-official Fars news agency reported on Thursday.

The Nano Research Center of the RIPI will present 14 items of its achievements at the exposition to meet the country's need for sophisticated materials and equipment, Fars said.

Cases to be presented at the exhibition will include technologies to prevent erosion in gas fields, synthesis and and nano formula of lubricants.

The Fars report did not say when exhibition will take place. Endit
