1 killed, 1 injured in small plane crash in U.S. state of Texas

One person was killed and another injured on Tuesday night when a small plane crashed in Hitchcock, a city in the southeastern part of Texas, the United States.

The plane, a 1965 twin-engine Beechcraft aircraft, took off from Pearland Regional Airport and crashed at about 7 p.m. local time (0000 GMT), Texas Department of Public Safety officials said.

The injured passenger was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the incident is under investigation. Endi
