Dollar trades in upper 102 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the uper 102 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo on Wednesday, coming off a three-week high of 102.96 yen logged at one point overnight in New York.

As markets here opened, the dollar was quoted at 102.84-85 yen compared with 102.85-95 yen in New York and 102.39-40 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1208-1209 dollars and 115.27-28 yen against 1.1200-1210 dollars and 115.26-36 yen in New York and 1.1173-1174 dollars and 114.40-44 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
