Oil prices waver narrowly amid OPEC speculation

Oil prices ended slightly lower Tuesday, as traders continued to assess the impact of a preliminary deal on output by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery fell 12 U.S. cents to settle at 48.81 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for December delivery decreased 2 cents to close at 50.87 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Enditem
