Xinhua, September 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

The ninth Cross-Strait cultural industries fair will be held in the port city of Xiamen in southeast China's Fujian Province from Nov. 4 to 7, according to a press conference on Friday.

There will be 3,100 booths displaying crafts, creative design, digital content and tourism on the mainland and Taiwan.

The event also aims to improve communication between countries and regions along the 21st century Maritime Silk Road, and help Chinese culture to go global.

To date, the fair has drawn attendees from several countries, including Pakistan, Australia, Poland, Nepal, India, Cameroon and Uzbekistan.

Last year, more than 730 enterprises from Taiwan attended the fair. Endi
