Top advisory body to convene in late October

China's top political advisory body will hold a meeting from late October to early November.

Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), recently presided over the 49th chairpersons' meeting, at which the schedule and agenda of the 18th meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee was decided.

The meeting will focus on the results of the sixth plenary session of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee which begins on Oct. 24.

The CPC plenum will focus on Party management. Endit
