Jordanian PM says new government will focus on economy

Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Mulki said Wednesday the newly formed government will focus on economy, the state run Petra news agency reported.

Chairing a meeting for the government that was sown in earlier on Wednesday, he said the government has a group of projects that it will work on in the future.

He said the government will draft the 2017 state budget soon and present it to the lower house.

The new government will also work on addressing directives by His Majesty King Abdullah to enhance the lives of Jordanians in various fields, the prime minister said. Endit
