Dollar in lower 100 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 100 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.

At the opening of trade here, the dollar was quoted at 100.47-48 yen compared with 100.37-47 yen in New York and 100.53-54 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1216-1216 dollars and 112.69-70 yen against 1.1204-1214 dollars and 112.58-68 yen in New York and 1.1248-1249 dollars and 113.08-12 yen in late trade on Tuesday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
