Belarus to open consulate general in China's Guangzhou

Belarus is going to open a consulate general in China's Guangzhou this year, the press service of the Belarusian government said on Tuesday.

The decision on the opening of the consulate general of Belarus in Guangzhou is enshrined in the Council of Ministers' decision No. 765 as of September 27, 2016.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will make a state visit to China on September 28-30. He plans to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. About 30 documents on the development of international cooperation in political, economic and social spheres are expected to be signed during the visit.

China is one of the most important trade and economic partners of Belarus. China was one of the three main trade partners of Belarus in 2015. Endit
