Vietnamese tennis player crowned at Men's Futures F5

Vietnam's top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam defeated his Japanese rival in the men's singles final of the Men's Futures F5 in southern Vietnam on Sunday.

It took the 19-year-old Vietnamese player one hour and a half to beat Masato Shiga 6-4 in the final match in southern Binh Duong province. Shiga is four years older than Nam, and currently ranked 631st in the world.

Men's Futures tennis series, including 9 events from F1 to F9, are running from July 25 to Nov. 6 in Binh Duong, with the participation of 68 players from 41 countries and regions.

Men's Futures are a series of professional tennis tournaments held around the world by the International Tennis Federation. Enditem
