Vietnamese elderly woman, 3 grandchildren murdered

Xinhua, September 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

The bodies of a 61-year-old woman and her three grandchildren aged three to nine years old were found in their room in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province on Saturday early morning.

Coming home in Uong Bi city after a night shift, Vu Thi Thanh found the corpses of her 61-year-old mother, her 9-year-old daughter, his eight-year-old son and her 3-year-old niece (her elder sister's daughter), the municipal Police Department said.

All the victims were stabbed and chopped to death. Many local people thought that thieves or robbers broke into her house to steel or rob assets, and killed the woman and the kids to cover up their crimes.

Thanh's two-story house is in a densely-populated area. Endit
