Vietnamese parliament speaker to visit Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar

Vietnam's National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan is expected to pay visits to Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar on Sept. 26-29, according to the NA Committee for External Relations on Friday.

The visits are made at the invitations of the President of the Lao NA Pany Yathotou, Cambodia's NA President Samdech Heng and Speaker of Myanmar's Union Parliament Man Win Khaing Than, respectively.

The Vietnamese top legislator will visit Laos on Sept. 26-27, Cambodia on Sept. 27-28 and Myanmar on Sept. 28-29.

In the last stop of her three-nation tour, Ngan is scheduled to attend the 37th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3 in Myanmar's capital Nay Pyi Taw, said the committee. Endit
