Xinhua, September 21, 2016 Adjust font size:

At least 10 people were killed and scores of others were injured on Wednesday morning after a bus collided head on with a mini-bus in Kwimba district, Mwanza region on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Ahmed Msangi, Mwanza regional police commander, said the accident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. local time. He could not say what caused the accident, explaining that police were continuing with investigations.

The accident occurred barely two days after 12 people were killed on Monday night after their bus overturned at Kifanya in the country's southern highlands region of Njombe. Endit
