Saudi airlines says false hijacking alarm over plane in Manila

A Saudi Arabian airlines said on Tuesday that the hijacking of one of its planes at Manila airport was false alarm, Al Arabiya local news reported.

The report said the incident was over, without giving further details.

Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced on Tuesday that a commercial flight from Saudi city Jeddah was placed "in total isolation" upon landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The plane was carrying returning pilgrims from the annual hajj in Saudi Arabia. Endit
