Dollar changes hands in upper 101 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 101 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, in line with levels seen in New York overnight.

At the start of trade, the dollar was quoted at 101.92-93 yen compared with 101.86-96 yen in New York on Monday at 5 p.m.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1177-1177 dollars and 113.92-93 yen against 1.1169-1179 dollars and 113.84-94 yen in New York.

Markets here were closed on Monday for a national holiday. Endit
