Oil prices rise on OPEC-deal expectation

Oil prices ended higher on Monday as investors raised expectation for a market support deal from Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery added 0.27 U.S. dollars to settle at 43.30 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for November delivery gained 0.18 dollars to close at 45.95 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Enditem
