Cheng clinches gold in 50m backstroke S4 in Rio

China's Cheng Jiao secured her third gold medal of the Rio Paralympics on Friday by winning the 50m backstroke S4.

The 22-year-old finished in 48.11 seconds, beating compatriot Deng Yue by 1.9 seconds at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

Ukraine's Maryna Verbova took bronze in 52.28.

Cheng also won the 50m breaststroke SB3 and 150m individual medley SM4 finals here. Endit
