China's Pan claims third gold medal of Rio Paralympics

China's Pan Shiyun claimed his third gold medal of the Rio Paralympics by winning the 100m freestyle S7 on Friday.

The 27-year-old hit the wall in one minute 0.82 seconds to beat Colombia's Carlos Serrano Zarate by 1.02 seconds.

Ukraine's Ievgenii Bogodaiko clinched bronze in 1:02.12.

Pan, who won two gold medals at the London 2012 Games, also triumphed in the 50m butterfly S7 and 50m freestyle S7 here. Endit
