Oil prices slip on supply glut, strong dollar

Oil prices fell on Friday amid a global supply glut and a stronger U.S. dollar.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery lost 88 U.S. cents to settle at 43.03 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for November delivery erased 82 cents to close at 45.77 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Endit
