U.S. stocks jump amid economic data

U.S. stocks posted solid gains Thursday as investors digested a string of economic data.

The Dow rose 0.99 percent, and the S&P 500 added 1.01 percent, while the Nasdaq leapt 1.47 percent. Enditem
