Spanish stock market rises 0.21 pct, closes at 8,720 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.21 percent on Thursday to close at 8,720.50 points, up from the 8,702.40 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Indra A shares led rises climbing 2.41 percent, followed by Caixabank, Mapfre, IAG, Gamesa and AENA that rose 2.39 percent, 1.58 percent, 1.34 percent, 1.29 percent and 1 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led falls losing 1.59 percent, followed by ACS, BBVA, Telefonica, Iberdrola and Banco Popular that lost 0.79 percent, 0.69 percent, 0.52 percent, 0.47 percent and 0.43 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 104.30 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.08 percent, both showing no big differences when being compared with Wednesday. Endit
