Landmine hits UNIFIL vehicle in south Lebanon

A landmine exploded Wednesday below a vehicle belonging to the Spanish unit affiliated with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), reported the National News Agency (NNA).

According to the NNA, the landmine explosion was around 15:30 and on the outskirts of the southern border town of Ibl Al Saki with no reported casualties.

A security source told Xinhua that the UNIFIL vehicle was on its routine patrol of the eastern sector in south Lebanon and that the vehicle was severely damaged however. Endit
