The following are the highlights of Zambia's major media outlets on Wednesday.
-- The Chinese government has expressed optimism about Zambia's growth prospects under the new tenure of President Edgar Lungu who was inaugurated for his five-year mandate in office on Tuesday after winning last month's general elections.
Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Yang Youming said Zambia was poised for enhanced social and economic growth as Lungu's vision was progressive going by the policies enshrined in the ruling Patriotic Front manifesto for 2016 to 2021. Yang further expressed confidence that existing bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to grow stronger for the benefit of two peoples. (Times of Zambia)
-- Kenya's Vice-President William Ruto said Africa was proud of Zambia's peaceful democratic dispensation as witnessed in last month's general elections.

-- Zambia's investment agency has urged investors to take advantage of multi-facility economic zones and industrial parks the country has established which enjoy various incentives.
Zambia Development Agency director-general Patrick Chisanga said the economic zones and the industrial parks enjoy special incentives such as zero percent tax on profits for five years from the first year of operation and zero percent import duty rate on capital goods, machinery including specialized motor vehicles for five years for investments of not less than 500,000 U.S. dollars, among other incentives.
