China's outbound investment surges 53.3 pct in first 8 months

Chinese companies continued to invest big in the overseas market during the first eight months of the year, the Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday.

The data showed that China's non-financial outbound direct investment surged 53.3 percent from a year ago to 118.06 billion U.S. dollars in the January-August period. Endi
