Dollar trades in upper 101 yen range in early Tokyo trade

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 101 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, marginally lower than levels seen in New York overnight.

As markets opened, the dollar was quoted at 101.75-76 yen compared with 101.82-92 yen in New York and 102.31-32 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1241-1241 dollars and 114.37-39 yen against 1.1229-1239 dollars and 114.37-47 yen in New York and 1.1248-1250 dollars and 115.08-12 yen late Monday afternoon in Tokyo. Enditem
