Straits Exchange Foundation has new chief

The Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) elected Tien Hung-mao as its new chairman on Monday, according to an SEF statement.

SEF's top position had been left vacant since Lin Join-sane resigned as chairman in May.

Tien was chairman of the board at the island's policy research institute before he assumed duties at SEF. Endi
