China's treasury bond futures closed lower Monday, with the contract for settlement in December 2016 down 0.14 percent to close at 101.29 yuan (about 15.14 U.S. dollars).

The March 2017 contract closed 0.15 percent lower at 100.96 yuan. The June 2017 contract finished 0.48 percent lower at 100.63 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
