Xinhua, September 10, 2016 Adjust font size:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said late Friday night that his side was still waiting on U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to give an answer on a proposed Syria deal following day-long talks between both delegations.

Immediately after Lavrov's statement, U.S. State Department spokesperson John Kirby indicated that Kerry was still holding discussions with Washington on "proposals we have been working on with Russia."
