Xinhua, September 10, 2016 Adjust font size:

A Palestinian young man was shot dead Friday by Israeli army's gunfire for pelting stones near the border in eastern Gaza.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a brief statement that the 18-year-old young man was hit by a bullet to his head.

Witnesses said that the young man was wounded during clashes between dozens of Palestinian youths and the Israel Defense Forces, when the youths pelted the soldiers behind the fence with stones and they responded by shooting tear gas.

According to official statistics, since last October, more than 200 Palestinians and over 30 Israelis have been killed in clashes or attacks. Endit
