Chinese shares close lower Friday

Chinese stocks closed lower Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.55 percent to close at 3,078.85 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.81 percent lower at 10,762.79 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.92 percent to close at 2,202.97 points. Endi
