The president of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Isha Johansen, together with her deputy and the organization's Secretary General, were questioned by the country's Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) and detained at the Criminal Investigation Department here over night.

Alhassan Kargbo, the Public Relations Officer of ACC, confirmed to Xinhua that they were arrested to answer to a number of queries with regard to numerous funds remitted to SLFA by FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to manage football in the country.

Sources close to SLFA said they will have to respond to questions relating to the Under 17 funding as well as funds amounting to thousands of dollars from FIFA and the CAF. Endit
